1. Preparation
-
USB Stick: Use a high-quality USB 2.0 or 3.0 stick. For the best compatibility, use a drive 8GB or smaller.

-
Extract the firmware
.zipfile on your computer. -
You should see a folder named
gigablue. -
Inside the
gigabluefolder, there should be a subfolder namedtrio4kpro. -
Copy the entire
gigabluefolder to the root of your USB stick.-
Path:
USB:\gigablue\trio4kpro\ -
Contents: Inside the
trio4kprofolder, you should see files likekernel.bin,rootfs.tar.bz2, andimageversion.
-

When the message “IMAGE FOUND” or “USB UPDATE” appears, quickly press the Standby/Power button on the front panel.
-
The front panel will show “FLASHING” or a progress bar.
-
-
Wait: The process will take a few minutes. Do not turn off the power.
-
Completion: Once finished, the receiver will reboot automatically into the new image.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver
is being flashed it is vitally important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as
this can cause serious and or permanent damage.
