To flash the IQON Force 2 SE, you will follow the standard procedure for this popular Broadcom-based HD receiver. The “SE” (Second Edition) is a refined version of the Force 2 and requires the specific folder structure to be recognized by the bootloader during start-up.

1. Preparation

• USB Stick: A high-quality USB 2.0 stick is best. For these older Broadcom bootloaders, 8GB or smaller formatted to FAT32 has the highest success rate.

• Firmware: Download the image specifically for the IQON Force 2 SE (OpenATV, OpenPLi, or Egami).

2. Folder Structure

The bootloader identifies the update files within a specific subfolder inside the iqon directory.

1. Extract the downloaded firmware .zip file.

2. You should see a folder named iqon.

3. Copy the entire iqon folder to the root of your USB stick.
