[HOW TO FLASH] how to flash ENIBOX

To flash an Enibox (such as the Enibox Single or Enibox Combo), you will follow a procedure similar to other Broadcom-based receivers. The Enibox models are known for being straightforward to flash, provided the folder structure on your USB stick is exactly what the bootloader expects.
1. Preparation
-
USB Stick: Use a high-quality USB 2.0 stick (2GB to 8GB is ideal).
-
Format: Ensure the stick is formatted to FAT32.
-
Firmware: Download the image specifically for your Enibox model.
2. Folder Structure
The receiver looks for the enibox directory on the root of the USB drive.
-
Extract the downloaded firmware
.zipfile on your computer. -
You should see a folder named
enibox. -
Copy the entire
eniboxfolder to the root of your USB stick.-
Path:
USB:\enibox\ -
Contents: Inside the folder, you should see files like
kernel.bin,rootfs.bin, andimageversion.
-
3. The Flashing Process
-
Power Off: Turn off the receiver using the power switch at the back.
-
Insert USB: Plug the USB stick into the rear USB port.
-
Power On: Turn the back power switch to ON.
-
Initiate Flash:
-
Watch the front panel display.
-
When the receiver detects the USB, it will display a message like “USB” or “UPDT”.
-
Quickly press the Power/OK button on the front panel to confirm the update.
-
-
Wait: The display will show the progress (e.g., “FLSH”). Do not interrupt the power during this process.
-
Completion: The receiver will reboot automatically once the flashing is 100% complete.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver
is being flashed it is vitally important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as
this can cause serious and or permanent damage.
