[HOW TO FLASH] how to flash Edision OS mini4k

1. Prepare the USB Drive

USB Specs: Use a USB 2.0 stick (FAT32 formatted). For 4K Edision models, sticks 8GB or smaller are highly recommended for the best bootloader compatibility.

The Folder Path: Extract your Enigma2 image (OpenATV, OpenPLi, etc.). The root of your USB drive must contain this folder:

USB_ROOT/osmini4k/

Verify Files: Inside the
osmini4kfolder, you must see:-
kernel.bin -
rootfs.bin -
imageversion -
force(If you want the flash to start automatically; otherwise, usenoforce).

2. The Flashing Procedure

Power Down: Turn off the receiver using the power switch at the back.

Insert USB: Plug the stick into the side USB port.

The Trigger:

Turn the power switch back to ON.

If using
force: The front LED will change color or blink immediately to signal the flash. -
If using
noforce: Watch the TV screen. When the prompt appears, press the OK button on your Remote Control.

Wait: The process takes about 3 minutes. The front LED will pulse while writing the data.

Finish: The receiver will reboot automatically. You can remove the USB once the installation wizard appears.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver
is being flashed it is vitally important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as
this can cause serious and or permanent damage.
