HOW TO FLASH

[HOW TO FLASH] how to flash Atemio NEMESIS

The Atemio NEMESIS is a high-end triple-tuner receiver that supports both Enigma2 and TitanNit (Dual Boot). Because it uses a specialized Broadcom chipset ($BCM7424$), the folder structure on your USB drive is the most critical part of the process.

Step 1: USB Preparation

  • Format: Use a high-quality USB 2.0 stick formatted to FAT32.

  • Folder Structure: When you unzip the image (e.g., OpenATV or OpenPLi), you must see a folder named atemio.

  • Target Path: Inside the atemio folder, there must be a subfolder named nemesis.

    • Path check: USB_DRIVE:\atemio\nemesis\

    • Crucial Files: You should see kernel.bin, rootfs.bin, and imageversion.

Step 2: The Flashing Procedure

  1. Power Off: Turn off the Nemesis using the physical power switch at the back.

  2. Insert USB: Plug the drive into the front USB port (located behind the front panel flap).

  3. Boot & Trigger:

    • Flip the rear power switch to ON.

    • Watch the front panel OLED display.

    • As soon as you see a prompt like “Found Image” or “Press OK to Flash,” press the OK button on the front panel (it is behind the flap, next to the USB port).

  4. Wait for Progress: The OLED display will show “Flashing…” or “Updating…”. The process takes about 3–5 minutes. Do not interrupt the power.

  5. Reboot: Once the display says “Completed” or “Remove USB and Reboot,” turn off the rear switch, remove the USB stick, and turn the box back on.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver
is being flashed it is vitally important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as
this can cause serious and or permanent damage.
