To flash the AXAS HIS TWIN (non-Plus), you will use the same HiSilicon-based method as the others in this series. The most critical detail is ensuring the subfolder name matches this specific hardware exactly so the bootloader can find it.

Step 1: USB Preparation

• Format: The USB stick must be FAT32. (HiSilicon chipsets prefer smaller, USB 2.0 drives).

• Folder Structure: Unzip your image (e.g., OpenATV). You will see an axas folder.

• Target Path: Inside the axas folder, the subfolder must be named histwin.

  • Path check: USB_DRIVE:\axas\histwin\

  • Files: It should contain appcfg.bin, boot.img, fastboot.bin, kernel.bin, recovery.img, and rootfs.tar.bz2.

Step 2: The Flashing Procedure

1. Full Power Off: Flip the physical power switch at the back of the AXAS to OFF.

2. Insert USB: Plug the drive into the side USB port (this port usually has the most direct communication with the bootloader).

3. Boot & Trigger:

   • Switch the rear power toggle to ON.

   • Immediately press and hold the Power Button on the front panel.
