[HOW TO FLASH] how to flash beyonwiz T2

Flashing the Beyonwiz T2 (Step-by-Step)
1. Prepare the USB Drive
-
Format: Use a high-quality USB 2.0 stick (FAT32). Broadcom-based receivers like the T2 can be very sensitive to USB 3.0 drives. A 4GB or 8GB stick is ideal.
-
The Folder Path: Extract the Enigma2 image (OpenATV, etc.). The root of your USB drive must contain this exact folder:
-
USB_ROOT/beyonwiz/t2/
-
-
Verify Files: Inside the
t2folder, you should see:-
kernel.bin -
rootfs.bin -
imageversion
-
-
The “Force” Hack: If the
t2folder contains a file namednoforce, rename it toforceto automate the flashing process.
2. The Flashing Procedure
-
Power Off: Turn off the receiver using the physical power switch at the back.
-
Insert USB: Plug the stick into the front USB port (located behind the front flap) for the most reliable connection.
-
The Trigger:
-
Turn the power switch to ON.
-
If using
force: The front display will immediately indicate the flash has started. -
If using
noforce: Watch the front panel display. When it displays “CONF” or “USB”, press the OK button on the front panel (behind the flap) or on your Remote Control.
-
-
Wait: The VFD display will show the flashing status. This typically takes 3–5 minutes. Do not power off while the display indicates writing.
-
Finish: The receiver will reboot automatically. You can safely remove the USB stick once the setup wizard appears on your TV.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver
is being flashed it is vitally important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as
this can cause serious and or permanent damage.
